Truly a "painted lady" sitting gracefully in her place on Illinois highway 4 greeting the many travelers passing by. Construction on the home began in 1898 and was completed in 1902. The house was awarded a "Landmark House Award" by the St. Clair County Historical Society in 1980.

This Bed & Breakfast boasts of four bedrooms of which two have private baths. There's plenty of room for relaxing indoors and out. The house features a Victorian wrap-a-round porch on the main level and a spacious balcony on the second story. A full breakfast is served daily at 8:30 A.M.
